Anxiety

Anxiety during pregnancy can show itself in many forms and can develop over time. How do you know what a normal amount of anxiety during pregnancy is? Usually anxiety goes away once the stressful situation passes, but when you’re anxious most days for no obvious reason, things can spiral. Anxiety during pregnancy can stand in the way of enjoying pregnant life and caring for your newborn baby.

As a pregnancy naturopath, I can help you overcome some of the challenges faced, not only when you are pregnant, but when you have given birth and trying to navigate the challenges that motherhood brings.

Connecting to yourself and others, re-thinking nutrition and getting adequate sleep are all ways to tackle anxiety when pregnant – but sometimes just taking a breath and slowing down during the day can settle the mind and leave you feeling more calm and collected.
